I had the opportunity to submit to an anthology filled with some of the best New England Horror Writers. I was nervous because I write dark science fiction and humor. The idea hit me like a brick. My story blends magic, science fiction, witches, hackers and cyberpunk. I had great feedback along the way and at this point in my writing career, this story is by far my favorite. I’m hoping that this short story is the start of what might be a longer series in the future. Just in time for Halloween, check it out as some of New England’s best indie writers explore the horrors behind the witch. Available now on Amazon.
New England has a rich, dark history with the supernatural. From this region many writers of dark fiction have fueled their stories. One chapter in history has been the stuff of legends and nightmares: the Witch. Look to ancient mythology or your next door neighbor and you will find them, practicing arts both Dark and Light. The New England Horror Writers proudly present a new anthology which pays tribute to those whose ancestors were accused, hung, pressed, drowned, or burned at the stake. Enter these pages, wander the hard roads of Colonial America or modern corporate boardrooms, to face the Witch. Wicked Witches, fiction from New England’s most talented writers: G.D.
